About Us

Based in Letchworth Garden City, we are a local Will writing & estate planning business. Whilst most of our clients live in the nearby towns of Letchworth, Hitchin, Welwyn Garden City, Arlesey, Stotfold, Baldock, Royston, Luton or Stevenage, we also serve clients across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, North London and beyond.

The business is run by John Franklin who, prior to taking up Will writing full time, worked for 20 years in the public sector as a Chartered Public Finance Accountant.

John is a full member of the ‘Society of Will Writers’ and an affiliate member of STEP (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners).

This was my first experience of will writing and I wasn't sure what to expect however John demystified the process, and made each step clear and easy to understand. Having had wills prepared in the past by solicitors we thought we knew what to expect. However, John was thorough in his questions and, with one exception produced, an accurate first draft for both us quickly.He was flexible, adaptable, easy to talk to and work with. After a home visit lasting just over an hour John produced two wills, in Trust, but could easily produce the simpler version if required.Highly recommended to those who need help or prefer to avoid solicitors.
